Jose María Martínez

I am a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Department of Economics at Monash University.

I am an applied microeconomist, conducting research at the intersection of economic development, agriculture, and applied econometrics.

I earned a Ph.D. in Agricultural, Food, and Resource Economics (AFRE) at Michigan State University. Before AFRE, I was a Research Fellow at the Colombian Corporation of Agricultural Research (AGROSAVIA) and a Research Associate in the Applied Economics Lab at the Alliance of Bioversity International and CIAT.
